Why you should work harder and longer that ever before NOW?

WHY should you work HARDER and LONGER, than ever before NOW??
The year was 1999....
The year everyone had a full melt-down about Y2K ruining computers...and..
Paypal (then X.com) was called one of the worst business ideas of the year.... and...
The dot-com bubble was looming just around the corner.... while...
Prince's "Party like it's 1999" reemerged on the radio to celebrate the centennial.
Martha was pregnant with our first baby boy, Adam.
I had a day job selling credit-card machines door-to-door to businesses in Jamaica Ave. Queens New York.
But I have also been Moonlighting on the Internet which we called it "Information Super-Highway" -- connecting the world via my only phone line at the wrap speed of 25 MBPS.. ??
I worked all day starting at 6AM to 7PM going door-to-door and couldn't sell a single credit card machine due to the Y2K scare - for months.
Rent was 3 months due... and my landlord had started the eviction process.
A shady friend of mine suggested that we borrow some money from a dangerous loan-shark in Harlem - so we don't get evicted.
I couldn't even get a loan from this gangsta because he felt sorry for me. He said that he knew that I wouldn't be able to pay back, and he didn't want to break my legs for non-payment. ??
My only choice was to put all of my time into networking on BBS forums and trying make commissions from Affiliate Programs online.
I was very close to building my own membership site to sell to other marketers online... when we got evicted and had to stay in a roach motel for the next 2 weeks.
Homeless, close to being out in the streets, and pregnant.
With Martha's part time job we managed to get back into another small apartment.
I decided to put everything I have got, mentally, physically, and spiritually into building this membership site, and online tool.
I have never worked so hard mentally and physically in my life before. I hardly got 2 hours of sleep for months...
A few months later Adam was born and we were thrilled to have him... our only joy at that time.
I want to thank NY State public assistance for providing diapers and formula to help us along the way.. I will always support public assistance programs for struggling families.
Within months Adam was born, our membership business took off making $450K in 2000 and 800K+ in 2001 and 2002.
In 2005 we hit 1 Million in revenue. From 2006 to 2015 our business did close to 1.4 Million/yr for the next 8 years.
I share this with you because we often FORGET the hardship we have overcome...
We forget how resilient and powerful we are when we are put through the fire of purification.
We ALWAYS come out stronger and wiser.
Think back to a time when you have overcome the difficulties in your life.
Whenever you find yourself DOUBTING how far you can go, just remember how far you have come.
Remember everything you have faced, all the battles you have won, and all the fears you have overcome.
Use it to be fearless NOW.
Because come POST-COVID, you are gonna be on TOP!
And that's my WISH FOR YOU.
The photo above is an old photo when Adam was 4 months old in 2000 - 20+ hours of work and 2 hours of sleep... SWEET!
Abe
