Day 21 of my 21 day food-free living: Going beyond choices.

Today is day 21, the LAST DAY of my 21-Day Food-Free Living!
If you are reading this for the first time, you can read about my journey at my website AbeCherian.com if you like.
I do not feel particularly relieved nor am I eager to eat solid food when this is over tomorrow. Mentally and physically, I am in a state where I feel BEYOND the boundaries of food.
The biggest thing for me was recognizing the drive that FOOD RUNS YOUR WHOLE DAY. So much of our day is CENTERED around the thought of when we need to eat and PLANNING for it. Food runs your whole day. Thinking of the NEXT meal.
So much freedom comes from GOING BEYOND CHOICES. I did not feel hungry during the whole process, NOT ONCE. I practiced a technique called “un-clutching” from ANY thought at WILL. I can drop a thought within seconds if I want to and slip into a peaceful void and silence. A place where HIGHER FREQUENCIES are available to us.
I also feel a NEW appreciation for food – just for the enjoyment and pleasure of it. But the NEED for it is not there. It is such a powerful space and something that really breaks the PATTERN OF CRAVING THINGS.
Spiritually speaking, we are NOT our BODY and we are NOT our MIND. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. When we associate ourselves with just our body and mind, we also associate ourselves with the violent acts our body and mind must take for survival.
The motion of “CHEWING” is a violent expression coming through the body. When we get an urge to chew just notice the emotions we feel – excessive greed, and cravings.
When we were children our parents taught us to not chew with our mouths open. Not to show the act of chewing to anyone. Nobody wants to see that. This is because we instinctively know that the act of chewing is a violent expression of our body. And we do not want to show violence because it is not in our nature.
When we stop chewing for a period, it changes our bio memory and muscle memory.
The other advantages of this practice are just a bonuses.
Shedding excess weight. (I shed 16 pounds in 21 days)
Healing the body of any diseases. (my cholesterol is normal)
No inflammation inside and outside the body. (Most diseases are caused by inflammation in the body)
Energies get centered and as a result more focus and concentration. (I worked for 12-to 15 hours a day 7 days a week in the last 21 days)
Flexible body. Youth is being flexible. (I am more flexible, and I feel youthful)
Flexible mind. Youth is being able to mentally adapt quickly. (I welcome change in my environment now)
Looking and feeling confident. (I am more me now… I accept the good and the bad as they are… just an experience)
I have great reverence and gratitude to my spiritual teacher who introduced this ancient practice and blessed me with a deep understanding of enlightened living.
It is a beautiful experience and I would highly recommend anyone with this process, no matter the shape or size. But, do it ONLY if you feel that you are called to do it.
Much Love,

“By nature, we have all the intelligence in our human body. The difficulty is we strongly believe we are limited. We have been conditioned to think that we have only limited capabilities, that ‘we cannot…’ so we have forgotten how to use these capabilities. And because of this, we are not tuned to the technique to tap into all the dimensions of our being.
- HDH Bhagawan Nithyananda Paramashivoham, in the book "Living Enlightenment".”
